Easier to use
I prefer these 3.5 mil bags to the thicker bags. They are far easier to fill and seal = more can be put in a bag as it's more flexible and it doesn't take as long to seal with an impulse sealer. I seal all bags regardless of thickness with three good seals. Oh, poky things like dehydrated pears should probably be put in a thicker bag. The poky ends have not pierced the bags but why take a chance?
