7 Reasons Why We Love Stand-up Gusset Pouches

    1. Stand-up bags can be placed vertically without the need of a wall to lean against. Therefore, you can place many lines of gusset bags side by side on a shelf and still have them all visible and not falling over. 

    2. When a stand-up bag is empty, it will stack the same way a traditional mylar bag stacks - neatly and compact. This allows for the need of minimal storage space.

    1. Stand-up pouches are generally not mylar bags, but nylon or PET/PE. They are able to provide a strong barrier against moisture, oxygen, light and pests. All of these properties will help extend the shelf life of the contents within the bag.

The zipper style closure is not sufficient for long-term storage. This means that the stand-up pouch will have to be heat sealed for long-term storage. The zipper style closure is used to protect the contents once the heat-sealed top has been opened.
