Not only are these super easy to make but you can use these easy Freezer Pop Bags | PackFreshUSA in a variety of ways. Why settle for store-bought yogurt treats filled with artificial ingredients and sugar? With a little creativity and a few simple ingredients, you can create delicious, healthy homemade copycat Go-Gurt pops that your kids will love.
The Beauty of Homemade:
Making your own copy-cat Go-Gurt freezer pops offers a multitude of benefits:
Control the Ingredients: You know exactly what goes into your yogurt treats, avoiding unwanted additives and excessive sugar.
Customize Your Flavors: From classic strawberry to adventurous mango-pineapple, the flavor possibilities are endless.
Adding healthy vegetables in is a definite mom win. Carrots and mango or spinach and blueberries.
Fun Family Activity: Involving kids in the process fosters healthy eating habits and provides a fun, educational activity.
Leave a note: by using a Sharpie you can write on the Freezer-Pop to write what flavor and even leave a note of encouragement and love.
The Yogurt Frozen Treat Basic Recipe:
1 cup yogurt: Choose plain or flavored yogurt based on your preference. Greek yogurt is a great option for extra protein and a thicker texture. (you can use your favorite yogurt)
1 cup frozen fruit: Use your favorite fruits like berries, mango, peaches, or bananas. Frozen fruit adds sweetness and a refreshing, icy texture.
1 - 2 tablespoon honey (optional): Honey adds a touch of natural sweetness, but you can adjust this amount or omit it entirely depending on the sweetness of your chosen fruit.
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
1. Blend it: Combine the yogurt, frozen fruit, and honey (if using) in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
2. Pour and Freeze: Pour the mixture into the PackFreshUSA Freezer Pop bags. Leave a little space at the top for expansion.
. Seal the bag: Use impulse sealer or vacuum sealer with the vacuum off. In a pinch I have used a hair straightener
4. Freeze: Freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight for a solid texture.
5. Enjoy: Remove the yogurt treat from the freezer and enjoy!
This recipe uses readily available ingredients and is incredibly simple to make. PackFreshUSA: The Perfect Partner: For this project, I highly recommend using PackFreshUSA's Freezer Pop Bags . Pudding Pops:
Did you know you can also take pudding and make pudding freezer-pops? These are super easy to make using your favorite pudding mixes. I just made some chocolate, vanilla, and butterscotch using instant pudding. You can use the stove-top variety, but let it cool before pouring into the Freezer Pop. But with wonderful flavors like Oreo cookie, pistachio, coconut cream, banana cream, lemon, & cheesecake. I plan on making more with the cheesecake and mix in some preserves like strawberry or cherry would make a wonderful treat or dessert. These pudding pops would also be great for summer. I make the sugar-free pudding mix, since my husband is diabetic but feel free to make your pudding flavor of your choice and enjoy.
