I absolutely love making Valentine’s Day treats—honestly, I’d rather whip up some sweets than receive flowers! Homemade goodies are my favorite, and I enjoy sharing them with family, friends, and neighbors. One of my go-to packaging options is the adorable pink stand-up pouches from PackFreshUSA.

RICE KRISPIE TREATS -

I love making Rice Krispie Treats and they bring it up a level by dipped in chocolate. Here’s a simple recipe you can try: 

Basic Rice Krispies Treat Recipe:

• 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
• 10 oz bag mini marshmallows (or 8 oz peppermint marshmallows + 2 cups mini marshmallows)
• 3 tablespoons butter

Instructions:

1. Melt butter in a pan, then add marshmallows over medium heat. Stir often until they’re fully melted.
2. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the Rice Krispies cereal.
3. Press the mixture into a greased 9x12 pan or use molds (I love using silicone molds in fun shapes, like hearts or rectangles, to add a festive touch).

I used large silicone molds and heart-shaped forms to create fun shapes. After pressing the Rice Krispies into the molds, I inserted sticks, let them set overnight, and then dipped them in the chocolate the next day.

Using the melting chocolate in a variety of colors based on the season. These are super easy to make, and I like to shape them into pops (though that’s optional). I dipped them into pink, red, and white chocolate and added sprinkles for extra cuteness. These treats are perfect for Valentine’s Day, and I’m sure your loved ones will appreciate the effort and sweetness you put into them!

COOKIES AND CHOCOLATE

Another easy treat is to take your favorite cookie, and I love doing the blonde and regular Oreos in chocolate in red, white, and pink colors. Add sprinkles to make them dazzle with love. You could do peanut butter cookies, or just about any favorite cookie and dip them in melts (white or chocolate).

PRETZEL DIPPED IN CHOCOLATE

Whether you do rods or snack pretzels, these come out so cute. You can also put sprinkles on top of the chocolate dips. I did these for Christmas gifts and use the stand-up pouches and Freezer Pop bags for the Pretzel Rods.

CHOCOLATE POPS

The extra chocolate that is not used in the silica dips I place in mold for pops. These are great to add to the bags.

MERINGUE - HEART SHAPES

So easy and a great treat.

Ingredients:

3 Egg White (room temperature)

3/4 cup sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 tsp. white vinegar

Cream style food color (I used red to make pink)

Direction:

Add 3 eggs whites in a mixer and mix for 2-3 minutes.  Add in ¾ cup sugar slowly. Add in vanilla and the white vinegar. Mix for 2 - 3 minutes. Add in cream food color mix until you get the color of choice. Mix until stiff peaks form.

Assembling the cookies:

Use a piping bag to create dollops on a lined cookie sheet. You can also create heart shaped lollipops. You can add sprinkles as well.

Bake at 200 degrees for 2 hours.

These were so fluffy, and vanilla was the perfect touch. You could add other flavors like peppermint. These are airy and adorable in the heart shapes.

MARSHMALLOW DIPPED IN CHOCOLATE

One of the easiest treats to make. You can do simple or fancy. Take your large marshmallows and dip them in Melts - I used pink. Follow the directions on package and I do add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. I used a popsicle stick in the marshmallow and then dipped it in the chocolate (pink). You can dip in sprinkles and place on parchment. Or if you have cute silica forms like hearts or flowers you can add chocolate to that form and put the marshmallow into the form with the melts.

These are so cute and would be ideal for many different occasions or celebrations.
