EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY: Our bags have rounded corners to protect your other stored items from puncture or damage. The strong Mylar film has a burst strength of over 140 psi, equivalent to the weight of 5 cinder blocks per square inch. These bags are strong, durable, and easily sealed with a vacuum-sealer, iron, or hair-straightening iron.
DURABLE LONG-TERM STORAGE: 5 Mil mylar bags provide a substantial increase in puncture protection, improved durability, and greatly increase long-term oxygen and moisture resistance. Superior oxygen barrier provides over 100 years of protection.
OXYGEN ABSORBER PACKS (OAP): High-capacity oxygen absorbers can absorb 180% - 300% of their rating to have a substantial buffer of safety and to allow handling time. Unused packs can be placed into a mason jar or re-sealed to reduce exposure and waste when not being used.
GUARANTEED FRESH: Each package of oxygen absorbers will include one oxygen indicator. This will be pink if the package is sealed correctly. The color of the indicator may vary from bright pink to a reddish hue when the package is sealed, indicating that there is no oxygen in the package and the absorbers are good. Once the package is opened and exposed, the indicator will turn blue.

LOW OXYGEN TRANSMISSION RATE: Mylar bag films provide three layers of protection and offer an extremely low Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR) due to its thick foil laminate layer. This safeguards your food against the elements for long-term preservation.

I'm new to long term food storage and am starting to prepare for an uncertain future. One of the videos I watched recommended Pack Fresh USA. I ordered 50 1 gallon Mylar bags with oxygen absorbers and immediately started prepping with beans and rice. I have just received and begun to fill my 1 gallon storage bags and I love them. So far I've filled them with rolled oats, rice, beans and pasta (elbow macaroni). The oxygen absorbers work great and I seal them with my iron. Will definitely be getting more. Thank you.

I have order many hundreds of 5 mil gallon mylar bags from PackFreshUSA and I have always been happy, but with my most recent shipment, the bags had some strange line across them from side to side and the mylar felt a little different from the others I have received. The mylar felt more stiff. They bagged up fine, but this was not the best product I have received from PackFreshUSA. i hope they don't let their quality drop because I really like their company and I look forward to buying many more items from them.

I was very pleased with the quality of the products I purchased. I would actually consider that 5 stars. My only complaint was with the shipping packaging. I feel that the packaging was not sturdy enough for the contents. There were rips in the cardboard envelope it was shipped in. It was fortunate that the tears were small enough that the contents stayed intact.

I can't say enough good things about this company. When I couldn't find what I was looking for (my fault), I called the company and spoke with a woman who pointed me in the right direction. This woman is a food preservation specialist and was very helpful in so many ways. After my conversation with her, I felt educated. I only wish I could remember her name; Her knowledge and friendliness is what led me to my purchase, so she truly deserves credit. My order was processed and shipped very quickly, and I am very happy with the product I bought. I used to buy my mylar from Amazon, but this company will be my go to from now on. Received the order perfectly packed and delivery was promt once it was shipped. The bags are great, thickness is perfect and high quality. Oxygen absorbers are really great, specially good that they are packaged in groups of 10! This assures that you can actually use the whole package at once, with no need of having to store the ones left if you use a larger package of abosrbers!

These 5ml gallon size mylar bags are great for larger items. The quality for long term storage is the best. I even cut them in half and they are perfect for small items. (Just remember to order extra oxygen absorbers)
